MC-DFX-23BII medical surgical portable suction machine
1. Brief description
DFX-23B•ⅡPortable suction apparatus for emergency adopts AC, external DC and interior batteries for power supply. It can be used for suctioning secretion, blood and other substances that cause blocking in respiratory tract as well as suctioning for other purposes. It is especially fit for outdoor first aid, ambulance and circumstances where there is no power supply or there is power failure, in which circumstances, the AC/DC will switch automatically to ensure normal service of the apparatus.

3. Application
1.Get all the rubber pipes and interfaces connected as per the illustration (the pipes need to be sterilized).
2.Turn on the power switch 5 on the panel and the power indicator 6 will be on. The pump will start working (the pump working can be heard). When the interface1 is pressed, the negative pressure meter 4 shall indicate negative pressure.
3.For adjusting the negative pressure, its necessary to block the interface 1 with finger and turn the negative pressure regulating knob 8 with negative pressure up when the knob turned counter clockwise, and down when clockwise.
4.Attention shall be paid to the level of liquid in the vessel during use. When the liquid level is approaching the overflow valve, suction shall suspend till the vessel is emptied and washed clean. Otherwise, the overflow valve will close and the suction will have to stop.
5.In this apparatus, power supply from electric grid, interior batteries and lighter plug is adopted.
(1) Power from electric grid: put plug 9 AC220V power supply into the outlet of AC220V electric grid, and the power indicator 6 will be on. Turn on the power switch 5 when suction is required. At the same time, the 12V accumulator will be charged; and when the battery is full, the charging indicator 7 will be on.
(2) Battery: When a power failure occurred, the control section of the apparatus will switch to power supply from battery automatically. The battery will be able to work for
about 1 hour when it is full. (When the voltage declines, the power indicator will flash. At this time, some other power supply or emergency means shall be considered.) The battery shall be charged after use. Normally, the time for charging is 4~5 hours.
(3) Vehicle cigar lighter: Fitted on the apparatus are plug and wires and socket for connection. Plug the input end of the plug wire into the socket, and the indicator on the plug will be on; the apparatus will start service.

5.Maintenance and servicing
1.After apparatus stopped, small amount of water is required for washing the suction apparatus and the pipelines.
2.Wash and sterilize the liquid vessel, vessel block, overflow device and all the pipelines.
3.In cleaning the shell of the apparatus, make sure no water access the interior, which may damage the electrical components.
4.Place the apparatus at a well-ventilated and dry place. If kept idle for a long time, the apparatus shall be put into operation once every half year.
6.Precautions
1.During use, the liquid vessel shall be emptied when it is full, so as to prevent damage to the overflow device, which may lead to the liquid flowing into the pump and damage the machine.
2.After use, the apparatus shall be sterilized immediately.
3.The power socket of the apparatus shall have reliable ground connection.
4.The power supply from the electric grid to the apparatus can be cut off by means of the power plug, which shall be taken out of the socket when the apparatus is under examination or repair.
5.In places where it has high plateau climate or low power voltage, decrease of negative pressure is normal phenomenon.
6.No additional notice is available for any alteration of product dimensions or any specific parameters.

8.Warehousing, handling and transportation
The apparatus shall be stored in circumstances with the humidity not exceeding 80%, free from corrosive gas and well-ventilated room. Transportation and handling shall be subject to the marks and signs on the packing.
