Product Overview

 

A mobile digital X-ray system combines digital radiography with a mobile platform. It allows radiographic examinations to be performed closer to the patient when transfer to a fixed radiology room is inconvenient or clinically undesirable.

 

The MCI0007 50kW Mobile Digital X-Ray System is suitable for bedside and departmental radiography in hospitals and medical facilities. It can be used in radiology departments, wards, emergency rooms, ICUs, and operating rooms.

 

The system integrates a 50kW high-frequency generator, 17" × 17" wireless flat panel detector, touchscreen workstation, motor-assisted mobility, and flexible tube positioning. It can be used for digital radiography of the chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, skull, and extremities.

1. 50kW High-Frequency Generator for Broad Radiographic Applications

The system uses a 50kW high-frequency X-ray generator with a 260kHz inverter frequency. It provides a 40–150kV voltage range and tube current up to 500mA. This broad operating range supports a wide range of radiographic examinations.

The higher available output also supports radiography of thicker anatomical regions and larger patients, where greater X-ray penetration may be required.

 

2. 17" × 17" Wireless Flat Panel Detector

A 17" × 17" (43 × 43 cm) wireless flat panel detector provides a large imaging area suitable for examinations such as chest radiography.

The detector features:

3. Flexible Tube Positioning

 

The column and telescopic arm provide flexible tube positioning, including for examinations in space-limited clinical environments.

 

The focal spot height can be adjusted from 850 to 1910 mm, while the focal spot-to-column distance ranges from 750 to 1250 mm.

4. Ultrasonic Distance Measurement for Positioning Assistance

 

An ultrasonic distance measurement system digitally displays the source-to-image distance during positioning. Operators can adjust the X-ray tube and detector without repeatedly moving the patient.

 

5. Integrated Touchscreen Workstation

 

The integrated workstation combines X-ray generator control and image acquisition in one interface.

7. Motor-Assisted Mobility & Anti-Collision Protection

 

The dual motor drive provides smooth, low-noise movement between departments. The unit can be maneuvered with one hand when moving through wards, ICUs, and hospital corridors.

 

An automatic anti-collision device at the front of the unit provides additional protection during transport.

Q1: What is the difference between a mobile DR system and a fixed DR system?

 

A mobile DR system can be moved between different clinical areas and allows radiographic examinations to be performed close to the patient. It is particularly useful for wards, ICUs, emergency departments, and bedside imaging. Fixed DR systems are generally installed permanently in dedicated radiography rooms.

 

Q2: Does the MCI0007 require floor rails or ceiling suspension for installation?

 

No. The MCI0007 is a mobile system and does not require floor rails or ceiling-mounted suspension for normal movement and positioning. Appropriate radiation protection measures are still required at the examination site.

 

Q3: How can X-ray exposure be controlled on the MCI0007?

The flat panel detector uses a pluggable battery design and is supplied with a backup battery. When the primary battery is depleted, it can be replaced with the backup battery so imaging can continue.
