MCI0043
MECANMED
A digital radiography and fluoroscopy system combines conventional X-ray radiography with real-time dynamic imaging in one platform. It is designed for radiology departments that perform routine examinations as well as fluoroscopic and contrast-enhanced studies.
The MCI0043 Dynamic Digital Radiography & Fluoroscopy System integrates digital radiography, digital fluoroscopy, digital angiography and digital spot imaging. Its large dynamic flat panel detector supports both static and real-time image acquisition, allowing different examination workflows to be completed on the same system.
The system also provides flexible mechanical positioning for different anatomical regions and examination positions. An integrated workstation supports image acquisition, post-processing, transmission and reporting. Optional functions such as AEC, DAP monitoring and image stitching can be added for different examination workflows.
The MCI0043 supports a broad range of radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations across general radiology and related clinical departments.
Clinical Application | Typical Use |
General Digital Radiography | Routine radiography of the chest, spine, pelvis, extremities and other anatomical regions |
Digital Fluoroscopy | Real-time dynamic examination of the chest, abdomen and other anatomical areas |
Gastrointestinal Contrast Studies | Esophagography, upper gastrointestinal contrast and other gastrointestinal examinations |
Urological Imaging | Fluoroscopic and contrast examinations such as IVP and related urinary tract studies |
Gynecological Imaging | Contrast and fluoroscopic procedures such as hysterosalpingography |
Digital Spot Imaging | High-definition spot image acquisition during dynamic observation or image playback. |
Orthopedic Imaging | Routine skeletal imaging and special-position radiography |
Long-Length Imaging | Full-spine and full-lower-limb panoramic imaging when the optional image stitching function is configured |
The system uses an 84 kW high-frequency X-ray generator with a 550 kHz inverter frequency. Radiographic output covers 40–150 kV with tube current from 10–1000 mA. Fluoroscopy operates from 40–125 kV, with separate current ranges for continuous and pulsed fluoroscopy.

A large 427 × 427 mm dynamic flat panel detector provides a 3072 × 3072 pixel matrix, 139 μm pixel pitch and 16-bit A/D conversion. The detector supports dynamic acquisition at up to 30 fps for real-time fluoroscopic observation as well as static radiographic imaging.
The 427 × 427 mm active area provides a wide field of view for both static and dynamic imaging.
The system combines digital radiography, digital fluoroscopy, digital angiography and digital spot imaging. During dynamic observation or image playback, high-definition spot images can be captured for closer evaluation of selected areas.
The system provides flexible mechanical movement to support different examination positions and anatomical regions.
l Tube Column Swing
The X-ray tube column can swing from -45° to +45°, providing additional positioning flexibility for examinations of different anatomical regions.
l ±90° Table Rotation
The examination table can rotate vertically from -90° to +90°, allowing the system to accommodate both horizontal and upright imaging positions.
l Adjustable SID
The source-to-image distance (SID) can be adjusted from 1000 to 1800 mm, providing greater flexibility for different radiographic examinations.
l Flexible Lateral Movement
The detector supports 320 mm lateral movement, allowing the imaging field to be repositioned across different anatomical areas without frequent patient repositioning.
The automatic electric collimator allows the imaging field to be adjusted according to the selected examination and body position. This helps simplify positioning and reduces the need for repeated manual beam-field adjustment.
The system is equipped with two high-density grids, which can be removed when grid-free imaging is required for applicable low-dose examinations.
The workstation integrates patient registration, exposure control, image acquisition, image processing, transmission and reporting. Image processing tools include image enhancement, window width and level adjustment, image cropping and other processing functions.
For system connectivity, a DICOM 3.0 interface supports integration with compatible medical imaging workflows.
The MCI0043 can be configured with several optional functions. AEC automatically controls exposure time according to the examination conditions. DAP monitoring records examination dose information, while image stitching supports panoramic imaging of the full spine or lower limbs. Optional configurations also include an LCD touchscreen workstation and a specialized surgical/proximity console.
