The MCL3065 Semi-Automated Microbiological ID/AST Analysis System is a reliable, high-precision clin

ical microbiology solution.

 

It is designed for rapid microbial strain identification (ID) and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST / MIC analysis).

 

The system determines Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) values for pathogenic bacteria and fungi. It provides diagnostic data to support targeted antibiotic selection and antimicrobial resistance management.

 

Standard Workflow Procedure

 

1. Isolate Pathogenic Microbe Strain

Obtain pure bacterial or fungal colonies from primary culture media.

 

2. Prepare Bacterial Suspension via Turbidimeter

Prepare Bacterial Suspension with a Turbidimeter: Adjust bacterial suspension density to the 0.5 McFarland standard.

 

3. Inoculate Test Plate within 10–20s

Transfer the prepared suspension evenly into the 120-well test plate using the automated inoculation system.

 

4. Incubate at 37°C for 18–24 hours

Place the inoculated test panel in a laboratory incubator for microbial reaction.

 

5. Read & Analyze via MCL3065

Insert the panel into the optical reader. The software analyzes dual-wavelength colorimetric and turbidimetric signals.

 

6. Generate ID/AST Reports & Send Data to LIS
