As we know, Human anatomy is a fundamental subject in the process of teaching and training medical students, because anatomical knowledge is a requisite for safe and competent medical practice, and it is indispensable in medical curricula.


Cadaveric dissection is a standardized approach essential to reaching a solid knowledge of anatomy and to know in situ anatomical abnormalities and variations.

Through dissection practice, students can orient themselves inside the human body to understand where the main topographical landmarks are localized and to describe anatomical three-dimensional (3D) relations.

Therefore, dissection represents a huge advantage compared to single-dimensional images in textbooks, not only for students but also for post-graduates and specialists.

Dissection improves clinical training, and it is useful for surgeons who, through cadavers, can acquire greater safety and dexterity and can test deviceful surgical procedures.

However, due to the growing interest in anatomical dissection exercises and the increasing number of students enrolled in medical degrees, the number of bodies available does not allow to meet the different requests nowadays. What’s more, the cost of the bodies may be a bit overwhelming for the universities or the clinical research center.

So here comes our 3D Anatomage Table.

It can be widely used in medical education fields such as virtual simulation laboratories, digital anatomy laboratories, clinical anatomy training centers and specimen exhibition halls.

I believe that, in the future, the use of cadaveric dissection remains the best training resource for a future physician. But the process of training a good physician would be better to be integrated by virtual dissecting devices.

Because the recently trend shows that  virtual reality seems to play a crucial role as a new technology for enhancing education through new approaches for interactive student learning. And moreover, it is much more cost-effective and giving more chances for students to access the better  anatomy lessons.


As for the anatomy table.

We have two software versions of this table. Each version of the Software can be matched with different sizes of tables.

As for the first versions of the Software, It's mainly about basic anatomical knowledge. It consists of five parts. I will introduce each part to you later.

As for the second version of the software. Apart from the Module of the first version.  it also has other four modules, like the Morphological section, case study, digital embryology, and body anatomy system.

● What's the feature of this anatomy table?

Our system is developed with continuous real cross-sectional images of human specimens: 2110 male bodies with an accuracy of 0.1-1mm, 3640 female bodies with an accuracy of 0.1-0.5mm, and more than 5,000 3D reconstructed anatomical structures.

This is one of our most popular virtual anatomy tables. Its software is divided into five sections: systematic anatomy, regional anatomy, sectional anatomy, and some anatomy videos and autonomous learning.


Ⅰ. Systematic Anatomy

The 3D structures here are all obtained by 3d reconstruction of real human cross sectional data.

And the structures Are divided into 12 systems.

These are Locomotor, Alimentary, Reapirtoy, Urinary, Reproductive, Peritoneum, Angiology, Visual organ, Vestibulocochlear, Central nervous.

As an example, here are some structures of a locomotion system, let's use this as an example. You can see the 3D structure of the part and you can look at these structures from different angles.

From the anterior, posterior, Lateral, Superior, and inferior.

And then is the focus, you can select a structure, and click the focus button here.

then it would focus on some structure that you want to teach.

And the last one is free. you can freely move the structure from different angles and you can zoom in and zoom out to show the certain structure to students.

These button down below can help the teachers to show the strutrue in a certain angles immediately.

And here down below we have six buttons. Now i will introduce to you one by one.


■ Content

The teacher can add or delete the contents and show the accordingly structure based on the learning process, Now, I will show you.  You can add with a simple click and delete with a simple click too.

This would help show students the different relationships between each system.


■ Pronounce

When you click the bottom pronounce and then you can click the structure that you want to know, the name of the structure will be pronounced.


● Draw

When the teachers are teaching when they want to add some explanation to certain structure then they can click this button.

You can select different colors for writing and painting. After this you can make a screenshot and screen shot can be saved to the desktop of the computer.

Then after the class, Teachers can share the notes to the students. So the students don't need to write notes during the class and this will save a lot of time While teaching.


● Section

When you click it, it would show the section pictures from sup, ant, and lat.

Teacher can expand their teaching base on these section and help student to learn the same structure from different angle.


● Definition

Teachers can show the definition of each structure with just a simple click.

If I want to know the definition of this part. Just a simple click. then the definitions are here to learn.

If the structure appears with a red dot, it means it is a knowledge point, click and view the corresponding content.

This would help with students' self-learning, they can learn by themselves with just a simple click.


● Video

The video shows the real dissection process of this structure.

Students can learn the real and correct dissection steps from this video.

Then after the introduction of the 6  button down below. Now let's go to the functions button here.

Select a structure. And click the single show button. after clicking the single show button, the structure will be highlighted,

then it would be convenient for the teacher to teach the corresponding structure.  If you want to undo it. Here is the undo button, you can undo it by a touch.

All hide can empty the entire screen, you can use the screen as a whiteboard and write the knowledge directly. No need to exit the software.

This would save a lot of time for the teacher.

For example, if I click on a random structure. You can immediately see the deepening of the structure. In addition, it is easy to show the relationship between different structures.


It can undo our actions.


After clicking the drag, the structure can be separated.  

You can separate the structure by your finger.

Then teachers can easily drag the structure that they want to teach. And show the relationship of different structures.


After you click this button. all structures will be separated in the scene from the center point, showing the positions of each structure vividly.

This would deepen students’ memory about the position of each structure.


You can select a structure and make the structure transparent. The transparency can be adjusted by dragging the slider.

Teachers can show the position of certain structures by adjusting the transparency.


The next button is frame select. You can select some structure at the same time. Then the structure would be highlighted.


The paint button would paint different structures with different colors to show the differentiation of different structures.

Students can see the relationship between different structures easily and know the boundaries of different structures immediately.

Then here are some functions buttons for the first part.

Now let's go to the second part:

Ⅱ. Regional Anatomy

Regional anatomy

This part divides the body into 8 parts from the top to the bottom, They are the head, Neck, Chest, Abdomen, Pelvic&Perineu, Spinal region, Upper limbs, and Lower limbs.

The function buttons down below are almost the same. For this one, it adds a cut line function.

When you click it. You can check the correct cut line for a certain part of the body. This would help consolidate students' memory about the correct cut line.

And for the right part, a layer hide button is added.

Look here. This can show the structure relationship from the outside to the inside. Showing the layer relationship between each other.

Except for these two button. Other Function buttons are the same as the systematic anatomy.

Ⅲ. Sectional Anatomy

It mainly shows the sectional image of the 8 parts of Regional anatomy.

Students can learn about cross-sections of body parts from different angles.

The main purpose is to provide real anatomy knowledge by the most simple and vivid way and to help with the teaching and learning for teachers and students.

In some countries, due to religion, resources, economy, and other problems, it is difficult to obtain a body.

Q1: Do I have to connect to the network to use it?

No, The use of the software does not need the network. You can use it directly without connecting to the network. So no worry about the unstable network situation, it would not affect the class.

Q2: There are so many models, How can I choose the one that is suitable for me?

Well, firstly, depends on your needs. The 98-inch and 86-inch are suitable for teaching. because the screens are bigger , students can see the content clearly

The 55-inch is more suitable for students. students can do the training and self-learning by using this table.

Q3:What language systems do you have right now?

By now we would have the English and the Chinese version only. If the demand is bigger than 10 units, we would consider developing other language too.

Q4: can we only buy the software or the table?

So sorry about this. We don't sell software or tables individually. Our software and table are a perfect match with each other.

Changing the software or table might make the teaching less effective.

Q5: What if the table malfunctions during use?

We all know that 3C products will be too much use or frequent operation of some failures, and the table as long as you do not move frequently, it will not lead to poor contact with the power cord. However, if the table appears blue screen or screen flickering phenomenon, please do not be nervous, just need to restart.
